Transformer Training Program assumes no prior knowledge of transformers, or even of electrical concepts. The book has five sections: electricity fundamentals, transformer connections, understanding phase sequence, three-phase connections, and voltage phasor diagrams. After mastering this course, linemen are qualified to deal with nearly any distribution transformer situation they may encounter in the field. This book is based on a popular training program developed by Gordon Solee while at Otter Tail Power, and delivered by Mr. Solee at utilities and schools throughout the Midwest.
