This compilation of 20 papers covers the broad topic of measurement while drilling (MWD); of the papers included, five may be categorized as overview, seven as drilling, and eight as formation evaluation. The papers deal with universal concerns, including calibration and quality control, depth control, and reliability; comparison of MWD data with other sources such as wireline is also provided.
