The Intercargo Benchmarking Bulk Carriers 2012-13 report contains statistical and benchmarking information on bulk carriers. It provides guidance to owners, Port State Control authorities, flag states, financiers, terminal operators, charterers and other industry stakeholders. 

The statistical information contained, relates to the 7,553 dry bulk vessels that trade internationally with industry performance benchmarked against PSC detention and deficiencies per inspection data for the Paris MoU, Indian Ocean MoU, Tokyo MoU and the US Coast Guard areas of jurisdiction.

In its seventh year of publication, the hard-copy report contains statistical information concerning the world bulk carrier fleet, Port State Control deficiencies and detentions, plus an informative narrative and analysis of Negative Performance Indicators such as collisions, groundings and casulalties during 2010. Intercargo entered ships continue to have a lower Port State Control DPI (Deficiencies Per Inspection) rating than the industry average.
